Why We Use a Barrier From a Q Pole to Keep Stock Away

A Q Pole (pronounced ‘Kwee-pul) is a temporary fencing or partition that is designed to secure items or groups of people from each other by using metal or wooden poles that are then connected to each other. This can be particularly useful where there is a high risk of an item flying out of a display shelf into the general public. Such a barrier is then used to divide a group of people away from the rest of the crowd. The purpose of this type of fence is usually to protect from the possibility of someone lifting an item from the shelf and causing an accident.

How to Use a Barrier From a Q Pole to Keep Stock Away

The design of a Q Poles consists of three parts. Firstly, the barrier itself is made from a high-quality metal such as stainless steel or aluminium and then secondly, there is a retractable steel or aluminium pole that is attached directly to it. The final component consists of a clamp that holds the pole in place and has a flexible band on its side, which enables the barrier to bend around objects and forms a secure enclosure. Retractable wire barrier used in supermarket, superstore, exhibition, station, hospital, school, warehouse and so forth, in general, can be used as a line manager in all these public locations. In the case of a store, the main purpose of a wire barrier is to control the number of people entering the store, whereas in hospital, it functions more as a physical barrier.

For the store owner, a Q Poles serves two purposes. Firstly, it gives the immediate security against theft, damage or contamination of stock stored in the store. Secondly, it allows the owner to effectively manage the store’s stock inventory. Since the Q Poles is designed with a metal loop structure, the movement of the stock in and out of the store can easily be observed from inside the store. Also, the presence of such a pole helps in keeping track of the stock movements, reduces stockroom clutter and frees up valuable staff time for other, more important, functions. For the manufacturer, a wire barrier in conjunction with a suitable locking system can ensure effective stock management, increase profits and prevent product returns.
