The High-End Nail Salon Experience

There’s a High-End Nail Salon Experience on every block, but that doesn’t mean it’s all created equal. Some offer a calming spa-like experience complete with massage chairs, manicures that include pedi treatments and even pedicures that use nontoxic products. Others go a step further with specialized services like bespoke nail art, glitter polish removal and even hand and foot masks. And, of course, some of these locations also have a bar or lounge where you can sip on a cocktail and savor a manicured mani.

What does a nail spa include?

Some of the best nail salons have a cult following for their eco-friendly approach to the manicure process. For example, Tenoverten in Brooklyn is known for using gel polishes and removers that don’t release harsh fumes during application. Influencer Tefi Pessoa is a fan, saying the studio is bright, clean and professional. She’s been in for hard-gel manicures (from $65) that have included everything from snakeskin to cheetah print and designs featuring googly eyes.

Other eco-friendly spots are nail salons with an upscale feel, such as Sundays Nail Studio in New York City. The nail salon-spa doubles as a wellness center and features an elegantly decorated space that instantly calms visitors. The salon’s founder, Jin Soon Choi, is a beauty influencer with a knack for creating minimalist nail art, which stars like Sarah Jessica Parker and Adwoa Aboah wear.

These aren’t exactly cheap, but they’re a cool piece of railroad history and a great addition to any home or office.

All Aboard the Past: Collecting and Admiring Vintage Railway Memorabilia

A lot of railroad collectors are very interested in collecting and displaying their toy trains in the best possible condition. This is a big commitment because you can easily pay hundreds or thousands of dollars in train show fees to display your collection. But it is well worth the effort if you can get close to 100% of market value for your trains when they are in excellent condition.
